Meet Franck Genser

Franck Genser’s creations are, above all, works of art, sculptures that capture light and attention, combining the excellence of artistic craftsmanship, the quality of materials used, and technological achievement. It is from this unique combination that each project emerges, a conjunction of function and form.
“The paradigm of our work is to join art and furniture, aesthetic function and use”
Fascinated by the “soul of objects and all dimensions of their influence on the individual, Franck Genser is deeply attached to the relationships between” human beings and their environment: Our furniture becomes familiar, we live with it daily, they become “companion furniture”.
From the creation process combining mastery of digital tools and virtual reality to prototyping, our Parisian workshop brings together designers, engineers, and artisans to develop unique pieces or small series. Driven by strong values, the ecology of materials is at the heart of each project: noble materials, solid wood, parchment, vegetable lacquer, we preserve the natural features of the material.
We design and manufacture with a sustainable and heritage perspective. The designer’s approach is essentially that of custom-made. Each piece must perfectly integrate into the place that will welcome it; it embodies the identity of its owner.
An engineer by training and entrepreneur for over 30 years, Franck Genser has created and developed companies in different sectors and countries that have taken him around the world. Throughout this period. Franck Genser has nurtured his passion for Decorative Arts and Art Nouveau, which he discovered as a child in auction rooms and which allowed him to develop this intimate relationship with furniture.
Not finding this intimacy and these emotions in what the market offers, he created his brand in 2016, both timeless and contemporary, to bear witness to our times and bring craftsmanship to life in heritage and sensual creations.
Today, Franck Genser thinks of furniture as an essential parameter of the environment. The shape, surface, and material of an object contribute to the conscious and unconscious experience of its user. The designer applies this vision of design to interior architecture. The room and its layout, the light it offers, preexist and condition the experience of the men and women who are there.

The Franck Genser Workshop offers new forms to materialize new ways of being. The blossoming of ideas gives rise to concepts, processes, economic objects as well as physical objects. The uncompromising manufacturing inscribes the work of the Workshop in a heritage perspective. Through his creations, Franck Genser reinvents a distinctly French elegance.
